Not looked into it, I normally wait until the hype (and thus prices) die down. Problem is the developers of my favourite game, Elder Scrolls, has been bought by Micro$oft. So I am unsure if it will appear on the PS5.
For context I am not a massive gamer and only buy a few games/console, playing rarely, so for me there would have to be a good reason to buy one. Most of my gamer friends are PC only, but I know of no one that has a PS5 yet.
a friend managed to get one from Argos a few weeks ago - perks of waking up at 4am I suppose...
But that is the only one of them who has managed to get one - there are a fair few more still trying to get one! I'm just hoping I can finally replace that 980 I have in my pc... (will it last another year or 2?)
I used an App called HotStock it gives you live alerts for when stores get stock I just happened to be on nightshift when I seen the stock ping took a few tries but I managed to secure one
Luckily I've had one since day release, had a pre-order for the disc edition from game. At the moment though its just one big expensive Netflix machine as there isn't much optimised for it and I refuse to pay £70 for the few games that are.
Apparently they are already re-designing it anyway.
I am leaving it until Christmas. I'll see where the sand lies then. It's been such an appalling, shambolic release of a product, that I have lost all interest
aye but i got exceptionally lucky trying to get it from GAME. Just kept refreshing twitter until people saying they could purchase one even though it didnt come up as for sale. Still took a fuckin age to deliver the thing. My dads wantin to get one and honestly think it'll be easier to rob a bank than be so lucky and get another. Best of luck mind, here's hoping they sort shit out with it soon.
