... Are there more hiding out there?

Years ago I remember seeing a collection of screen-caps on WAMMonkey's site (which dates this a bit... for those who even remember that excellent site) of Katy Hill (one of the sexier Blue Peter presenters in the 1990s - she was on from 1995-2000)... in this set of screen-caps Katy Hill was covered in mud... and (being a bit of a nerd I'd watched Blue Peter like clockwork until I had to do GCSEs so was kicking myself that I'd missed it)... I've been trying to find a copy of the clip the screenshots were taken from for AGES, and never found anything... however I've now found it on YouTube... so in (reasonably good quality) 480p (not bad for a digital capture from that period) here is the link to the video of Katy Hill & Richard Bacon (he of cocaine fame) covering each other in mud on Blue Peter. NB Just to reassure everyone, there are NO U18s in this clip (as clearly Blue Peter did often feature minors).

Apparently this clip was first uploaded in May 2015, however I'm not aware of anyone alerting UMD before... so the question is how many other "holy grails" are out there???

Personally I'd REALLY like to get hold of:
1) The Anthea Turner Gunge Bath for Comic Relief - from an episode of Blue Peter probably a Monday in March 1993 (given Comic Relief happen on "odd" years and Anthea was on BP 1992-1994) NB the preceding Thursday - day before CR John Leslie had stood in tinned tomatoes & Anthea Turner & Diane Louise Jordan stood in mud as crew were sponsoring them... but due to time it wasn't shown properly, so they made 1 presenter (Anthea) get gunged properly on the next show.
2) Anthea Turner "Gotcha" on NHP - screened 27/02/1993 according to the BBC Genome project. She was meant to be presenting a new sports show for the Yanks entitled "Crazy Sports", and had to try bog snorkling (in a wetsuit) and racing in custard filled wellies.
3) Emma Forbes getting VERY messy feet in the last episode of one of the series of "Talking Telephone Numbers". She'd gunged Philip Schofield the previous week and this was his revenge. This would have been screened some time in April 1995 or 1996.
4) Not technically a "Holy Grail" as it is out there (in VERY poor quality), but a good quality copy of the Phillipa Forrester gunging on Get Your Own Back (which was IMHO the best celebrity gunging they did).

1) Been after that one myself for a while. There's a short part of it on Anthea's best Blue Peter bits on youtube.
2) Apart from it being mentioned way back on the contents list for cliptape 2(?) on The Gunge Emporium never seen anything of it. Thanks for the extra info about it.

On topic of Philippa Forrester, many moons ago she did a report for This Morning on an assault course(something similar) with end result of getting thrown in. Only know of this due random wander on this site in the internet archive.

And neither of her pie-in-the-face scenes are in circulation.

Randall&Hopkirk & Johnny, Thanks for reminding me it was in her "best bits of Blue Peter clip"... a whole 3 seconds (2m 58s to 3m 01s).

I was kind of hoping for a copy of the FULL clip which explained the shell suit (she borrowed it off John Leslie as she didn't want to ruin her own clothes) and showed her getting in to the bath bare foot & then poking her bare slime covered feet out of the bath & squirming her toes!

I have a couple of screen grabs from this. I think the show was "Licence to Thrill" and she was riding four-wheelers or something.

The one other Holy Grail I'm hoping for is the Zoe Ball gunk dunk test for Get Your Own Back, it was a brief section between CBBC programs, so I couldn't record it. But it was fantastic as I recall, she submerged herself again afterwards.

There is a movie called Pigs vs. Freaks (aka Off Sides) that has a giant shaving cream fight at the end. I saw it once while talking on the phone and didn't record it. I've been looking for it ever since.

Did Penny Peyser get involved? She is the only woman of note in the cast, according to imdb.

There was always something about Philippa that was adorable. I remember her looking particularly hot on Robot Wars. I mean, Robots, fire, the guy from Red Dwarf and Philippa Forester in leather trousers. What's not to like?

@ Challenge - It wasn't 6th March 1993 (that was when NHP was cancelled due to a bomb scare in the studio), it was the week before (27/02/1993) that Anthea's Gotcha was screened. From memory, at the point of the custard filled welly racing, she was wearing a cream woolly jumper and a black skirt & thick black tights... I remember as I had been hoping she'd have to remove the tights before she put her feet in the wellies... but sadly she didn't.

Fair point about fancying her... I had a crush on her back then... and at that point I was really too young to know what a crush was!

On another note... I've just realised there was another brilliant programme which came before Get Your Own Back... It was entitled Double Dare (presented by another legend of TV WAM Peter Simon - I believe the BBC may have bought the rights from Nickelodeon or vice versa as there are more clips from US version on YouTube)... The reason I mention this is because the 1990 Christmas Special had a brillant line up - Helen Rollason & Roger Finn of Newsround (who eventually won) against Yvette Fielding (who preceded Anthea Turner) & John Leslie of Blue Peter, and it featured one of my favourite "Physical Challenges"... moving spaghetti from a large bowl to 2 small bowls using bare feet... Yvette Fielding was NOT amused. Again I thought this had been lost to the mists of time, however the whole episode has surfaced on YouTube available in 480p... Sadly I can't link as the studio audience has kids... However I'm including some screen-caps with enough info to find it

Just wondering if anyone remembers a clip of a gunging from the 1999 series of Gyob it was the inclosed tunnel series. The gunging is of a women called Helen (larger women as I remember ) it was on the gunge emporium video list.

It's not a clip which has been mentioned before , just wondered if anyone remembers it .

In any case, I've tried to find two clips for a while. A japanese travel program of a girl diving headfirst into the Totumo mud volcano (looks mad thick in the screencaps from Route 207's site) and a Ripley's segment where a woman emerges from a bath of chocolate for an "edible outfits" promo (identified to me as episode 213).

this show was on TBS Superstation for four seasons in the early 2000s and yet there's almost no evidence of its existence today. So strange. If anyone has word on either of these I'd gladly appreciate it.

The two I am looking for are:

1.) mud wrestling scene from Roseanne's Saturday Night Special. I think this aired on Fox for a very short time in the late 1990's.

2.) there was a show about Radio Station promos and one had a bit called "Rollin in the Dough" where they covered the contestants in honey and had them roll in a pool of money. The first woman in this bit was pretty hot and was wearing a small bikini.

I always have been searching for two from the 90's.

1. A Richard Bey Show episode with the "Miss All That" contest where a mudwrestling contest took place and a hot Asian woman ended up covered in mud.

2. A Family Challenge episode with a family named Dahl. There were two adult women in that episode who took amazing gunge baloons and further mess throughout the episode. One blonde, one brunette...

Unfortunately I've never distinctly seen these clips on a summary of a Hurley Cliptape or found it anywhere else. If anybody has these or knows of a link/download I'd appreciate being pointed in the right direction!

Mine is from the early 1980s: It was a feature called The Making of The Toy, and it has much better scenes of the pie fight than in the movie. Teresa Ganzel is wearing a lowcut strapless summer dress. At the end of the sequence, she is interviewed about the pie fight still covered in custard.

The feature was used as filler on cable channels (HBO?) in those early days on cable TV. I didn't have a VCR yet. I can't find it on Youtube and it wasn't on the movie's barebones DVD.

Yes! I have a really crappy VHS copy of this, but it was awesome! Like you said, the clips from the pie fight were much better than in the movie. And Teresa was still a mess from the pie fight. They asked her in the interview something about "doing an interview with pie on your face". She kind of giggled and said, "I thought it would help!" That was so hot when she said that! 30+ years later, I've never forgotten that!

I was hoping the the DVD of "The Toy" would have "The Making Of...." on it. Rats! There goes my hope of seeing it in sparkling digital!

But thanks for mentioning that; it saved me from buying the vid!
