Have you ever had a situation when you were making a mess and were noticed by people who shouldn't have seen you in such a state? For example, someone from your family or your friends

So I never got actually caught, I've had a few close calls, but I used to get messy at my house when my parents and brother were away when I was in High School. One day I collected some mud in some pitchers to get messy with. I did get messy but forgot about one of the pitchers upstairs and my brother found it. He thought someone had murdered me and buried me in the backyard until he came into my room while I was watching something on my laptop. I refused to explain what I was using it for and tried to pass it off as a prank. that was I think 13-15 years ago.

Neither of these are dirty but:

1. Wanted to slime myself one time when I was in high school but I didn't know how to make slime so I filled an empty mini Gatorade bottle with water, put a green marker in it, and poured it on my head once it looked green-ish right as my dad walked in the door.

2. I bought a maxi dress from Target for a school thing my senior year of high school. The summer before I left for college I would periodically wear it in the shower, occasionally go so far as taking a full shower in it. I never got caught but a couple times I left it just hanging over the shower rack to dry off (it was a guest room shower in our basement that no one used) and I wouldn't be surprised if my mom (who is half my size and I would have to do a double check if I saw her in any sort of sundress, let alone a maxi dress) went down at some point to get something and was like why the hell is there a long black sundress hung up in the shower soaking wet?

The situation happened a long time ago when I lived with my parents. One day my parents went on a trip for a few days, when I was alone at home I came up with the idea to paint my whole body with poster paints. Unfortunately, my parents came back earlier than I expected and saw me covered from head to toe in paint. I had a big fight then.

Never got caught but we almost did, When I was dating my wife we decided to celebrate her birthday messy style I bought a ton of stuff (pic in my profile.) She lived at home and I had a roommate who was going to a wedding. We were going to play in the living room of my place but at the last moment she suggested we play in the bedroom. So we set up the bedroom and not five mins after closing the door, neither of us were messy yet my roommate made a surprise appearance at home.
