With Covid vaccines on the way, it's looking like the end of this crisis is on the horizon and I'm sure some of you are now starting to think about your first post lockdown gunging or pieing. Have any of you already made plans for this yet or will you wait until you get the all-clear before you start planning ? Tell us some of your plans for your first post-corona session.
Not made any plans yet, but would love a decent post lockdown session with someone ... I'm thinking nice casual outfits or sportswear, trainers, a hotel bath and lots of natrasol!
I also haven't made any official plans but I'm hoping that maybe I can meet up with a couple of friends down south who I get pied by when I'm down there and we can make up for lost time with an epic pie session. I have a couple of pie pals that I've agreed to do this with. Obviously we just need to wait until the end of this palaver and then we can take it from there. I'm hoping for maybe early to mid April for this to happen, although that's a big IF this vaccine goes ahead
Why wait**? With people at home so much, nobody's expecting you to turn up anywhere smelling of chocolate and motor oil. At the peak, we left our gunge pit open in the living room for days because there was zero chance of outside discovery by pop-in friends, and another ladyfriend of mine into paint had blue-stained breasts for the better part of a week, but she didn't care a bit (she scored the paint cheap as chips during a lockdown sale, as well). Best part is, nobody looks twice if the grocer or hardware store carts ten bags of wam goods to your car for an online order, because hey -"covid project", right?
This covid business definitely sucks, but I suspect there's all sorts of opportunity for those looking to make the most of it, imo.
Edit:**Sorry, wasn't considering the meet-up crowd in my answer. By all means, keep a safe distance, and yes, reunion meet-ups post-covid should be exceptionally spectacular, as will a lot of things, I suspect. Take lots of pictures.
