Turns out I had VHS tapes with (I think) every single (female) messy bit from the entire first season of What Would You Do. There's the occasional color bars at the beginning of clips (ah, tape technology) but mostly these are in pretty nice condition: First generation, 720x480 resolution. I lost track of the total amount of clips, but it's basically 55 minutes of WWYD and then 10 minutes of "bonus" footage. Some of the WWYD clips are long (a few "pass the pie" games) and some are super-short, depending. For those who asked: The "Crowning Glory" shows up 3 (?) times... There's footage from the "Pie Battle" show of Kids vs. Adults... And all the bits of folks out in the park pieing themselves or getting pied.
Bonus 10 minutes: A couple nice sliming clips from "Gonzo Games"... Moms pied on Family Double Dare... Ben Stiller's future wife soaked and caked... And a very random clip with Tina Yothers (!!) and Rain Pryor (Richard Pryor's daughter?!) covering each other in thick whip cream at the end of a celeb version of Double Dare.
How I miss the Nineties.
Depending on positive response, I plan to upload a few more "archival" compilation clips in the original SlapstickStuff DL Store, so stay tuned. *Hopefully* Season 2 of WWYD... But also the complete pie clips from College Madhouse, the Hey Vern! show, and then maybe some long-lost amateur pie footage. (Paul's House Of Pies has already given its blessing...) So stay tuned!
You sure this isn't the video anthology to the Nickelodeon history book "Slimed" haha. Way to go Rich, it's great to see this footage in original quality and all condensed into a single clip.
Now if only I can maintain focus from your latest 2 girl bikini clip enough to order this....
