Hey folks, anyone knows what brand of cake is this?? Always seen in a bunch of WSM videos, they seems to have a really good consistency and coverage. Ref-pics below.
I believe they're a generic kind of frozen gateaux/tiramasu - a large size like this is generally only available in larger out of town UK supermarkets or from trade outlets like BestBuy.
I think the one I got for the shoot pictured was from the frozen aisle of Morrisons.
They truly are one of the best cakes for WAM - really gooey and soft. (Second place to the incredible Costco sheet cake, which is the best ever.)
Good luck finding them in the UK though - I never seem to find them anywhere anymore. They used to be in Lidl but they stopped selling them. And they weren't expensive either £3 or £4 each at the time.

It's getting more difficult to find decent 'ready-mades' in Britain (especially the bit in which I live). Supermarket cakes become ever more stingy and expensive.
