I have a old car from the 50s which to used to belong to my mum, I tried to get it restored for her but due to pregnancy I handed it over to a dodgy business who cut corners on it's rust repairs so needs to be started again, due to the legal battle over it I no longer have the funds to restore the car I'm thinking of sticking videos up on patreon or only fans to fund the restorations but I don't know if there would be a audience on those platforms for car content
Perhaps merge this concept with educational DIY instruction like videos on how to do things, watching a hot girl being kinky flirty at the camera as she talks to you about how to grind off paint, remove dents, bondo spots, ball joints, cooling system, brakes, cylinder head, and many other things for example, the list goes on.
I could see that potentially drawing at least some small audience at least, could be a new thing, never know where that goes.
While I think patreon would probably not get you the money that you are looking for - depending on the car, and how well you edit the footage, you may well get some traction and possibly enough watchtime and subscribers on youtube to be able to monotise (but also subscribers are more likely to then join a patreon or similar for extra footage/bts etc).
Not sure about what the car scene on youtube is like, but I can imagine that it's probably an area which does quite well once you can get traction (monetisation, sponsorship etc). Having done some of the technical work for it in a previous job (manglement trying to monetise every aspect of the business to fund their vanity projects without increasing capacity), it isn't an overnight income generator, but if you spend time (and some money - decent lighting is very useful, and a music platform that is royalty free is essential if you want music in your videos!) then it can be something that brings in at least some income (but remember, this can also make your tax returns harder too!)
