Im realizing that one of the best pie skits out there, from Monty Python's "The history of the joke" , has not been given a WAM twist by any of our more senior pie producers. How can this be?
#1 It's already very well known and is occasionally performed by non-wam theatre troupes.
#2 Comedy is hard, and most wam producers use models instead of actresses.
As for changing it to be more "wam," it's already a bunch of pies in faces, and which establishes a predictable routine so that it can break from that routine for the punchline. Complicating it with other wam substances would likely diminish the comedy.
