I've never commissioned a custom order, but am curious to know everyone's experiences with custom offerings. What did you want that you couldn't find in pre-made scenes? Who did you get it from? How much did it cost? We're you satisfied?

I've got a bunch of customs in 2020, and will probably do more in 2021.

I found that I really liked certain scenes, but that there was a long time between the scenes that I liked, so I got a custom because I wanted to have my favorite scene.

I am satisfied with some of my customs. others are kind of meh. I think you have to go into it kind of knowing that it's a risk and might not be perfect. I wanted to push the envelope with my scenes and get things that probably wouldn't happen.

The producers I've bought the most customs from are Messygirl and Slymsford, and I absolutely want to do more with them, as long as they keep selling.

Abi Solo:
Probably the best solo scene ever IMO. I would place money on the fact she was genuinely getting off. If she wasn't and was just acting then she ought to be cast in a movie.

Jessie Savory:
The fact that this was the models first nude shoot just made it absolutely amazing. For the best customs, I always ask for things that are totally ridiculous, and this was past all expectations.

it's rather complicated to actually do it and the producers are all very very different in their communication styles. Sometimes It's a lot like managing a vendor than just buying something off the shelf.

They are also different in their processes, so certain kinds of customs will be a lot cheaper from different producers. The best way to do it is to find a producer who is already doing something you like, and then asking for more of that as your custom, or asking for it as a twist.

The prices have been lower than what I would have expected, and differ substantially between producers. If you want something that a producer is already doing anyway, it will likely come out cheap.

This is because it is better for the producer to take your money as a subsidy toward a shoot they already want to do, knowing they will make it all back in sales. You're essentially providing upfront sales.

This also means that a newer, less established producer will often ask for more $$$ than a high quality established producer, because the newer producer can't count on the future sales.

I have tried for two custom videos and successfully got one! My timing of requests co-incided with the Pandemic. First site was eventually unable to do it and notified me some weeks after my request. Second request to different site also ran into same problems but after a period of some weeks (I was kept up to date by the site) got my custom. Very pleased with it and the quality of the video. Was exactly what I 'ordered' and no complaints at all.
I chose a custom as I could get model I wanted, in clothes I wanted and in the scenario I wanted. Site was very helpful and will hopefully get another when situation re Pandemic allows.
It does help if there are reviews from others who have had a custom off the site so you can get some idea about the site itself.

I have been ordering customs for years now. I started out ordering from messymaddie92 back in the day and it turned out amazing and at such a reasonable price, that got me hooked on custom content.

What I love is getting to actually see your idea created, sure a lot of my customs are variations on things others have created before but they are all done exactly the way I asked for, right down to what the models are wearing.

For me I can find things I like in other videos and do regularly buy off the shelf content, however getting exactly what you want, waiting on that video to drop into your inbox is quite exciting knowing it was created just for you.

To date I have ordered about 30 customs from various sites, directly here on umd, off of manyvids and extralunchmoney. Some have been amazing, some have been ok, however when it turned out not as expected its always my fault.

I have learned now to take my time and create a request with all the details I am looking for, so if I have some advice about making your own, take some time and craft what you are looking for, agree with the model/studio in advance all the details and you will both get a great result.
