Can anyone recommend or have experience with those home made whip cream makers? Is it worth it for making your own whipped cream also can it be modified to spray out? My wife and I love the idea of a duel with one of these. Thanks in advance for advice and ideas!
I've used them regularly. You pour in heavy cream, crack the charger and then science does its thing whipped cream comes out the nozzle. What makes it fun is that you can add your own flavors or colors but it comes out at about the expected rate. You can modify the output somewhat with the tips they give you.

Awesome, I kinda assumed that, I figured the tips could be modified similar to what can be done to a shaving cream can. How do you modify the tip just make the hole a little smaller?
One thing Americans have that we Brits dont have, is your supermarkets sell tubs of 'cool whip' - I have no idea what it tastes or smells like, but I am betting its artificial - and I would love to use some in WAM, but in the UK we dont even have an equivalent - the closest thing we have to it is whipped cream in a squirty can - that stuff is flavourless, it sort of turns into white water if left for more than a few minutes and whether you eat it or use it in wam, the smell of it follows you around for ages until you've showered it off.
Sorry I can't contribute much to the main question here - I use a food processor or nutribullet for whipping cream, it takes seconds, often the result is like butter
