Whenever we shoot a scene with one or more of our people in a trouser-based outfit, we always take at least a couple of clean "crotch shots", front and back, and usually include both in the previews. To me the pelvic area, seeing it clean, and then getting messy, *is* the essence of WAM, and the front (vaginal) view even more than the bum shot, though both are sexy to the max. But I've noticed often the bum shot gets more heart-clicks than the front one, which is the opposite to what I'd expected.

So, time for a poll: which is the sexiest view, the front, vaginal, one, or the rear, bum, view?

The examples given here were all modelled by the very athletic Lucia, in two different sporty scenes. The first and last are vaginal views, middle two are bum shots.

In Splosh-land, I think it depends on what's happening....

If she's sitting on a cake, we want the butt view as that behind squishes that dessert flat!!

If she's filling her underwear, we want the front view so we can imagine how good it feels as the slop caresses her pussy!!

I voted "behind" as I think the best view is "presenting" where she leans forward to show both ass and pussy.

That's a fair point, we always film cake sits from behind, even if the sitter does eventually come round to the front and do a final sit forwards.

OK, hadn't thought of that. I guess should clarify this poll mainly relates to the view when standing up straight, as shown in the accompanying pics, and also when fully clothed, as barring a couple of Imperatrix Domina scenes we don't shoot nude. But ta for pointing out the alternative takes on it. And yes, the "presenting" pose as the start of a cake-sit is a magnificent way to do it, especially if wearing tight leggings or dancewear for the sit.

A girl straddling a cake for a front view sit is super hot.

When getting messy it depends on the mess: rear view for sitting on anything (unless straddling as someone has already mentioned), always front view for filling (unless the mess is being poured down the back).

For clean shots it really depends on the outfit: for anything 'fitted' that gives any hint of camel-toe, front view, for looser trousers the rear view is often better

Don't worry, we have plenty more of this kind of thing to come.


That's a good point, and definitely something we need to do more of when our people cake-sit in trouser-based outfits. Appreciate the hint too, all too easy for us all to try and hoard our own ideas.


Agree re the actual messing - the area being messed should always be the main focus. This needs to be Rule #1 in any "How to shoot WAM scenes" guide.


I'm actually quite partial to the front view in less tight clothes, to me non-tight jeans on a woman for example look absolutely stunning from the front as long as they're high-rise and long-fly. But I get the general sentiment.

Been very interesting to watch how the poll has gone, lead has swapped over at least once.

Also interesting to see how the heart-clicks on the pictures have gone, at the moment the rank is:
#1 bum in grey pants (5 clicks),
#2 front in grey (4),
#3 bum in black (3),
#4 front in black (2).

So I guess the take-away from that is that the tight grey pants are more popular than the swimsuit-over-pants combination, and that in both cases the bum view is preferred to the vaginal one. The clothes choice I get, while I really like the leotard-over effect that's a throwback to growing up in the 80s, the tight grey pants with nothing under them are more classically sexy. But to me personally the front views are the sexier ones.

In particular with the black outfit, I'm visualising a future scene with that outfit where the swimsuit will be filled, probably fairly slowly, starting with raw eggs, and imagining how those will slop down inside, slipping easily down until the hit the waistband of the leggings, under the swimsuit, and then slither down between the two layers of material to collect between the wearers' legs. There's a few of our people I think will find those sensations really fun to experience. Mmmm, squelchy!

Its entirely on the outfit; as the design/cut/tailoring is such large factor. It depends a lot on the model too- if someone has a lovely bum then the bum shots will often come out sexier.

Some outfits excel at the front view, while others are very flattering to the butt cheeks.
(For your photos left hand pair front is sexier, right hand pair bum is sexier)

Sometimes a side on or angled photo works best- since it shows off the curves of the body while direct front and back shots sometimes look more like a police line-up rather than an erotic photo shoot.

I voted for the front/vaginal view because if a woman is wearing leggings, you have the camel toe effect. But if she has a tight firm ass, the rear/ass view is good too. For me, it just depends on the model, because their reactions to getting messy are key.

It depends hugely on the outfit and the fit of it, and also on the build and profile of the model.
A full, firm, rounded, shapely, curvy bum that starts and stops is a wonderful thing.

Well, the results are in, just over 1000 views, 112 votes, and bum came out ahead of vagina but only by 8 votes - 60 to 52.

Meanwhile in the photo hearts, Lucia's front view in the tight grey running leggings won decisively, 10 votes to 7 over her bum view in the same outfit, while in the swimsuit-over-leggings both shots got four clicks each. As those click totals will probably change over time I've taken screen snip shots for "posterity" (bad bum pun ), attached below.

It's been an interestuing poll and thanks to everyone who commented, or voted.

Personally I think I'll always find the front view sexier but interesting to know how others feel, and I guess I should probably put slightly more focus on rear views in promo material in the future. We kind of did that accidentally with our latest wetlook release on Langstonedale, where the first photo the auto-choser selected for promo was the back view of both girls, really showing off their bums in their right disco pants, a copy also attached below.


I quite like straight-on for the actual action shots, so I can see everything that's happening clearly, but agree on angled shots sometimes being better for showing off a figure, something I should probably do more of. I've recently been collecting some fashion site shots of women in clothing styles we want to use in future scenes, and quite a few of those are 3/4 angle instead of straight on.

Interesting how you saw the pairs, I agree the right hand bum shot is sexier than the left, because on the right she's just wearing leggings, so the full shape is visible, on the left she's wearing a swimsuit over leggings so the shape isn't as obvious - the pay-off being the way the swimsuit pulls the leggings crotch into a flat shape really emphasises the front, though the very tight grey leggings work well there too.


Good point, reaction is vital. Agree on cameltoe. Interestingly, almost all women I speak to hate that effect, while most men seem to love it.
