Sorry if this has been posted here before but I've always been curious how producers find wam models. Do they simply advertise and the girls find it interesting so they give it a shot or do they contact them. Just something I've always wondered about seeing they always seem to find such amazing girls.

I tried craigslist and got some bizarre responses including fakers. I have ran thru a myriad of model mayhem searches and made hundreds of cold emails with virtually zero responses. I got lucky one day and contacted a gal under management and was lucky enough to negotiate a booking at a somewhat reasonable price.

So....luck?

I've never actually had to advertise for models. I've always been completely open about what I'm into and what I do, and as a result over the years I've had friends who happen to know models introduce them to me, had female friends want to take part, and even had girls come up to me out of the blue and say they want to be gunged. I've also asked a few women who I already knew as friends, and some said yes.

Firstly I'll just say DO NOT do what some utterly screwed up idiot did the other week and contact all the models that I have worked with that are on Twitter asking to do a messy shoot with them. Then proceed to be completely unprofessional ask to touch them and god know what else. They nor I will be impressed and by doing such things you reduce the likelihood that models will be prepared to do WAM in the future. Professional models are just that, please treat them as such. Apologies for the rant to those of you who aren't on the total moronic dick register that have had to read this!

Anyway to answer the question from the OP I get girls working for me from a variety of different sources. I'm a semi professional photographer and am a member of a number of different networking sites for models and photographers. If I see someone on there who I think might be good on the site then I send them a polite message explaining what's involved and asking if they would be interested. Responses are mixed, some just ignore me, others politely decline others tentatively say yes after asking lots of questions and others can't wait to do it. Also because the site has been going a while and has a reputation for being fun to work for I'm increasingly getting models contacting me saying "this looks like a lot of fun I want a go" which is nice Finally I have been very lucky to have some girls who are into WAM agree to come and be guests on the site such as Eden, Kitten and Messy Jessie.
