I've always considered the T-1000 to be my inspiration for covering myself in silver paint. The way his body looks sleek and smooth, just like seeing somebody covered in silver.
What was your inspiration for body painting and why?
My inspiration came at about age 7 when I saw a nearly nude ice skater who was painted from head to in gold paint. I asked my father what kind of costume he had on (gold Speedos) and my father said that's not a costume; he is covered in paint all over his body. I assumed that meant paint under his briefs too but thought it best not to ask. And that was all it took. Instant inspiration.
