Wet and messy clothes can cling so well and be peeled off. Both ways work though. Strip before gunge allows a good sight of what's underneath the clothes before getting covered again.
The best ones I see often are random chance - builds suspense. The trick is to not use too much gunge until you're naked (or as far as you'll go, which judging from previous content will be that!). Let's people see some skin which is always good. Then when naked, go crazy with the goo. Hope it goes well!!
With regards to clothes and colours, if you ask 100 people on here EVERYONE will give a different answer, so go with what you feel comfortable and sexy in, and perhaps pick 2 colours of gunge that are a bit of a contrast? For me (and many of us) clothes have to get messy. I think everybody is going to have a different answer but generally I would think that it would be a few gungings before the first strip and then alternating between gunge and strip after that. At least that is my opinion.

Your sample photo is from a video I particularly like. You start clothed, and some mess goes inside your t-shirt until it is a slippery clingy mess. That's when I like to see a girl pulling on the fabric, maybe sliding it off of her body, then back in place, sort of teasing. Perhaps more mess, more peeking under the fabric, then it comes off. Same with shorts or skirt or whatever is at the bottom. A skirt sliding off that has to be slid back up is sexy too. Finally, eventual nudity is a good way to end things. Laying in the mess is nice, sort of resigning oneself to being fully messy and all the feelings it might bring.
