This might be a daft question, apologies in advance

I've always main focused on slime... but i'd like to be pied pretty aggressively. What "pies" do I actually buy from the store? Ideally ones with the crust that are very messy. Would love all advice please on what's best.

Pie crust or graham cracker crust. Either will work

What's on sale, and of course, the 'messier' the better !!!

Meringue can be disappointing, but varies.

Read the thawing instructions if they're frozen. This is very important.
