An attractive young woman is going to wade into a river out in the countryside. The riverbed slopes steadily down under the water and our camera will be on a tripod deep in the water, so we'll be able to watch her going deeper with each step and the water rising up her clothes as she walks towards our viewpoint. She will end up chest-deep in the water, and then go for a swim and splash about to get completely soaked. What should she be wearing?
Vote in the poll or free free to add other suggestions as comments, UMD only allows 10 poll options.
If I could add an option it would be skintight jeans leather belt with a silver rodeo buckle, cowboy boots. a plaid long-sleeve western shirt, leather, suede or jean jacket and cowboy hat.

Now that sounds like a nice outfit! We don't currently have a cowboy hat or plaid Western shirt, though we do have a pair of cowboy boots, bought in Las Vegas back in 2018. Will bear this outfit in mind for future shoots, I certainly do like the working cowgirl look, and it's a nice practical outfit for getting wet or messy in too. Thanks for the suggestion!
Thanks for all the replies everyone, very much appreciated, both the votes and the comments.
What promoted this is that, assuming the weather holds for another couple of weeks, we're finally going to shoot the first Langstonedale outdoor wetlook scenes since 2018. The last few years we had a series of heatwaves and really focussed on mud, to the point that our mud scene stockpile is now over three years into the future, but we only have just over a year's worth of wetlook in the can, and most of that is indoors, with our people playing fully clothed in the dungeon paddling pool. Shooting outdoors at the start of September is pushing the envelope - we usually assume that Mud Season (which is also outdoor wet season) ends at the August bank holiday, but this year it does look like we might get another week or two.
So we're looking at two days, probably one indoors, with water deluges in the gunge tank, and one outdoors shooting at some of our classic Yorkshire Dales locations.

Cretainly an outfit I'd like to see getting the wade-in treatment, if we don't do it this time that's on the agenda for next year's shoots.

We do I think still have some leather, though unlike fabric clothes real leather tends not to survive as well, at best it goes stuff and at worst becomes unwearable. Pleather is fine but also cheating and annoys real leather fans. Might look for some leather gear for next year's shooting season though, it does look gorgeous.

Mainly ran out of UMD poll slots - you can only have ten options, which is probably just as well or I'd still be adding things and it'd now have 373 options. But also I guess for the kind of scenes I'm hoping to shoot, anything very short or very lightweight doesn't really work, as the main part of the "going from dry to wet" bit of the scene is the girl's legs going down into the water, deeper with each step towards the camera, and the water rising up her legs, so a short summery dress worn with bare legs would mean just bare legs going into the water for most of it, though of course that does also apply to the sports shorts, although there we'll see more detail as the actual shorts meet the water, where a light dress would probably just float on the surface. I think my preferred way of wetting a light dress would be with a girl in a hosedown, or have her sitting below the bridge and getting bucketed from above, where the lightness of the dress will get instantly converted to "plastered to her skin" as the deluge arrives all over her.

Given the poll results, you're both in luck, as long as the model is OK with it that will definitely be one of the outfits worn outdoors, along with the skin tight running gear and the jeans and denim coat, and hopefully the rainwear. Further options will depend on time, light, and temperature.
Still 5 hours left on the poll so feel free to keep voting, be interesting to see if any of the lower options swap places at all in the final hours. Cheers everyone!

Agreed, but has to be clearly stated in the descriptions of a scene, leather fans tend to get annoyed by people claiming pleather is real leather, and we've always been sticklers for detailed and accurate descriptions for our scenes.

Who said it had to be a short dress? Many summer dresses are in fact midi or even ankle length.
Aha, sorry, didn't even think of that, to me "summer dress" brings up thoughts of really short mini dresses with lots of leg on show. But now I think about it I know the style you mean, some of the newsreaders have been wearing outfots like that recently. Not really sure if we have any of the long summer style, we have some longer dresses but faiirly plain, plus the "puritan wench / Wednesday Adams" style that we've just released a scene of Honeysuckle wearing in the dungeon pool.
In the end we actually shot five outdoor river scenes, and the outfits worn (which I'll eventually put a shot each of in a teaser gallery, when time allows), were:
Black business suit, black tights, black wellies. Blue jeans, dark t-shirt, long denim coat worn open, Hunters. Skin-tight spandex sportswear, converse-style trainers. Long blue nurses dress with belt, Hunters. Layered waterproofs, Hunters.
We ended up going with black wellies for the business suit as we couldn't find suitable black leather boots in the right size, the ones we'd planned to use one of the zips had seized completely, so those are now bin-fodder. But you often see people wearing wellies with smart outfits in the country to protect their feet from mud - though less commonly wading waist-deep into a river and then submerging completely.
It was impressive how effectively both the spandex and the waterproofs got wet - they're materials you think of as not changing much between wet and dry but in both cases the visibility of the wettings were impressive.
Here are a couple of samples, one in the nurses dress and one in the waterproofs showing just how beautifully they shone when wet. Wetlook!
shinyrainwear said: That's disappointing, should be rainwear and waders, every day!
While not quite waders, see the second pic in the post above - one of the outfits Purity wore into the river was rainwear jacket and dungarees, with the dungarees over the jacket, and Hunter wellies. The dungarees were genuine Flexothane and shone beautifully as they got wet.
We've also just released a messy scene with Maude covering herself in custard in Flexothane dungarees on SarurationHall.com - they mess up beautifully too.

Oh yes I've seen the preview of the dungarees and custard and looks amazing!
When are you releasing the above wedlock rainwear?
If join up immediately if you had a faster rotation of rainwear material on your site, it just comes around infrequently. I've still seen some teasers in the past that have not appeared on the site.

Thanks! Glad you like it. Will be in the download store in about six months.

As ever, no idea when any given scene will be released, I really do make it up as I go. Amazingly, at the moment I've actually already got next week's Langstonedale mud release selected, edited, uploaded, and ready to go live, which is amazing forward planning on my part - usually I'd be doing it on Monday coming. But I've not yet got any idea at all what the following Saturation Hall scene the week after will be, or the Langstonedale wetlook one the week after that. Though on the good side we have now recoverd from Backblaze everything that was lost when the 6TB drive failed, so can get a bit more organised than the last few weeks, where we had to grab individual scenes from backup with no thumbnails, rather than scanning through the folders of unreleased scenes and getting a feel for what to release next.
Btw am guessing wedlock should be wetlook? Thouugh a rainwear wedding dress really would be quite somthing, especially if the bride was standing under a running shower for the whole ceremony!
In fact I'm adding that to my "what do do when I win Euromillions" list - offer to fund a lavish wedding, all expenses paid, for three couples, one m-m, one m-f, one f-f, as long as they agree to wear rainwear wedding suits/gowns and be constantly hosed down during the actual wedding, and in full photosets. The celebrants, bridesmaids, and groomsmen, may all require rainwear too.
As to frequency, the membership sites are really meant for people who like variety and the mystery of not knowing what's coming next, we have people who've renewed their memberships constantly for the last seventeen years, to whom we are incredibly grateful as they effectively fund the core of our work. Those with more specific interests are better catered to by the download stores where they can pick and choose, and take advantage of the 3-for-2 offer to buy things in groups. Releasing a group of similar scenes all within one member site six month subscription cycle would be self-defeating as it would effectively be giving content away far too cheaply, which is why it ends to be very random.

I took a shower wearing jeans, shirt, belt and my cowboy boots. The boots felt so good heavy, full of water and soaking wet. I put a descriptive story about my shower on my profile under stories
