Ive never been messy in clay before and really want to try it! What kind should I buy?

You are in for a treat. It's the best thing ever. By far the most amazing feeling. I like to get bentonite and pottery clay and mix them together. I buy the powder and you gotta wear a mask when mixing and mixing takes time but I promise it's so worth it. I also mix in some red clay powder for color. Here are some links where I buy it.

I second bentonite and kaolin! Ive been in a 6ft-deep pit of bentonite clay, and it feels heavenly!

I still love gypsum clay for the value and consistency!
