Not sure. It isn't uncommon for models to move on from the industry. Sometimes it's for personal reasons, careers or simply just a way to pay their tuition while they get their degree. Best practice is to take it for what it is and enjoy what we have.

^^^^ This. In reality very few models actually do WAM for very long, a few of us producers are lucky enough to have regulars who really enjoy it and will keep coming back time and time again, and a very few are genuinely into it as their own fetish and will stick around for decades, but by and large, WAM personalities are temporary, and people move on to other spheres of life.
It's annoying when you discover someone after they've closed their presence down, but also fairly common. If you see something still for sale that you like, buy it. It may not be there the following week.

Precisely. I mean, we loved one particular woman we worked with but she is in another phase of her life, married, moved into a new home and now hustling through school to get her degree. Will we ever work with her again? Maybe but her life has a different set of priorities now and we're going to be respectful and honor that. As stated, if you see something you like, don't sleep on it. If you have a custom idea on your heart with a model you really like, don't wait on it. None of us can promise if they're gonna be doing this tomorrow.
Case and point is Sunni Ray. She was new and literally pedal to the metal for 2 years until abruptly announcing her retirement this month. No explanation given and none needed. This is just the nature of the beast
Her husband was a wammer and they started off posting some pics from their sessions at home. They got connected with a fetish producer in their area and modeled for the occasional custom with said producer providing the studio and selling the clip in his store; I think she modeled in six scenes just for me. Katy and her husband started Katy's Playhouse as a fun side gig, but they had some conflicts with the producer, and the producer took down the store, despite having at least a dozen unreleased scenes.
