I was going through TikTok and I found a demonstration on how to waterproof a bedsheet to use as a tarp. It uses Naptha and clear silicone. He mixed it up in a trash bad lined 5 gallon bucket. After it was mixed, it is thin enough to saturate the sheet. He then hangs it to dry for a day.
I thought this may be something that could be useful for this group! Anything that makes clean up easier!
I did not try this, but it seems like a very workable process.
It might be good for waterproofing a sheet to use as a tarp, but those chemicals aren't exactly skin friendly so it's probably not a good idea for bedsheets/playsheets.
Also if it is just used as tarp, it's probably cheaper just to buy a tarp.
