long time lurker here who finally took the plunge and dived in (fully clothed, of course!)
This summer I'll have a challenge. I'll be spending quite some time on the move, living in a campervan. This will be my mobile office and my mobile bedroom. Needless to say, it's impossible to wam in a small (think about an oldschool VW) campervan.
So I'm very curious if anybody here lives (or lived in the past) in a campervan and how did you manage to fulfill your desires.
Mud looks like the obvious answer, but from my past experience it's quite difficult to find a secluded muddy spot in this country. Firstly, there's not a lot of natural mud and secondly, there are people literally everywhere. Even when you think you have found a nice secluded spot, after 15 minutes someone walks by.
I was also thinking about hotel rooms, but that would be an expensive option
Parking by the river would be great, if there weren't any people. I live in a small country and people are everywhere! If there is a road, walking path, ... there will be people in summer. Maybe I try at night.
