We are interested in WAMing while on a quick trip out of town.
To those that have done this, how much do you clean up? Do you leave the trash bag in the room with the "evidence"? How much do you leave for a tip? Do you bring in premixed slime or mix it in room. How easy is it to mix the slime in room?
We are planning on bringing a tarp and tape from home but hoping to get some goodies (pies, cakes, etc) from local bakeries.
Before my girlfriend and I lived together we used to go to no tell motels, and we would always haul everything out to the dumpster, never left anything, We all brought our own bowls and buckets to mix the slime. Hope this helps, have a great time and don't forget to share!
A word of caution about hotels, as someone who worked for a major British hotel chain as a maintenance engineer, there is something that they don't tell you, and you may wish to know. Most hotels these days require payment by card, and there is a good reason for this, they retain your card details! I remember one incident where we'd had quite a bit of damage caused to one of our rooms by the guests, now all hotels allow for say a spilt drink on the carpet, or some other minor incident, it goes with the territory. But, and here's the big one, if you cause any substantial damage and think you've got away with it, you may find an unexplained debit on your card at the end of the month! In the case of the chap who'd caused the damage at our hotel, not only did he get billed for the cost of the damage, and the repairs, but also for the lost income while the room was out of use. I remember him ringing up all irate and wanting to know how come his £100 hotel room had suddenly cost him about £2K! When it was explained to him about the damage he tried to say that he thought it was 'in the price of the room' ! Not only that, but they also share a 'blacklist', cause any damage in one hotel, and you may find that other hotels are suddenly fully booked, when you try and book a room in the future.
Suggest leaving to shaving foam if it's a hotel. Easy to clean up, even cleans the floor a bit, smells nice too. I've left about 20 empty cans and the shredded remains of a dress behind in the bin though!
When I do a hotel wam I never leave anything behind as well. I'm sure there's a residue in the tub and on the bathroom floor because I don't bring cleaners with me but that's it

That's about right,it doesn't do any harm, unlike the rugby team that stayed in our hotel and thought it was acceptable to run down the corridors tearing off doors and discharging fire extinguishers, then when in their rooms they damaged beds and tv,s. In a way, I felt sorry for the guy who'd booked the rooms because it was his card that got hit with a bill of about £25K, but then again I suppose if you're going to organise something then you should make sure there's no damage done. Be honest, would these people who think it's fine to cause loads of damage be happy if someone rocked up at their home or place of business and trashed it? Probably not. To be honest I've never heard of anybody causing loads of damage in hotels with WAM, and I think that's a good thing, I've heard of people who are into watersports and they think it's fine to go around peeing all over hotels, because, 'nobody sees the evidence', no but you sure smell the odour.
Thank you all for your feedback!! As we will be flying to our destination, it adds additional logistical difficulties (and space issues). I'm hoping to be able to post pictures soon
