Does anyone know if the wam story archive is still around anywhere?

Or has it been lost? That would be a real shame if it has.

Good question I'd would reach out to messmaster and ask.

If someone wanted to pay hosting fees to host it somewhere I know the guy that ran it. But his condition to give someone a copy is have a website set up to run it. He won't even give me a copy haha.

I know there is a reddit thread about a google drive being set up. Unfortunately during the copying process or something I think multiple people were syncing things or had things open at the same time and some of the stories are missing.

Then there is also this link that you can play around with. Sometimes you have to look at various captures for the links that work. While clicking on most authors works that you find and most category links or tags that you click on work, if they are multiple pages the other pages do not work. Going forward and backward in time so to say helps with some of this.

I do miss it as there were some cracking stories and some bloomin good authors. Since it went, doesn't feel like there's anywhere as good.

Found some stories elsewhere or by messing around on the Internet Archive but some the GYOB stories I've had no joy.

I just ended up re-posting all my stories on here in the Stories section under 'People', but it's somewhat hidden away. I'd imagine there are many regular UMD users who don't even know it's there.

I will be posting a new story by mid-January. There, I've said it in public now, so I have to do it.
