a few months ago I discovered that thing called ASMR ... not that I am into it, but somehow it slipped under my radar for quite some time and I realised I missed quite a trending thing on youtube.
One of last years videos - allthough not intended to be an ASMR video - seemed to fall just in between WAM and ASMR ... anyway since it's only portrait and I actually also wanted to know if the combination of WAM and ASMR picks up un youtube I posted the video for free ... so enjoy!
And I would be curious about what you think about that combination? Turn-on or Turn-Off?
I've enjoyed asmr for a while now but it's always been more relaxing than anything else. While it's not particularly a "turn-on" , your video is a really interesting asmr concept!
apparently, asmr is a synaesthetic phenomenon...the 'response' (which can be either purely sensory, or, at times, or partly, sexual) usually is triggered by a combination of auditory and visuo-tactile stimuli...I see it as two (or more) sensory inputs happening simultaneously such that the brain doesn't fully separate or compartmentalize them and thus produces a 'synergistic' synaesthesia event in the whole body (akin to encountering a static electric field).
