Manu returns to WAM photography for her first messy shoot. Her gorgeous ginger mane has gotten even longer since last time. This time she wears her own business outfit and gets gunged with several buckets of blue, yellow and pink goo. The main movie is shot on my new camera in 4K, so expect video quality to be extra crisp! In addition I added another camera perspective, mounting my Go Pro in portrait mode in order to get a full body shot, that should be especially good to view on mobiles. Let me know what you think about that. I will add the portrait movie to both resolution download packages (4K & Full HD).
The full size shots below are not photographs, but actual crops from the 4K movie.
Looks wonderful! I feel so behind. I still haven't went 4k. I upgraded my pc this year, it's still no super state of the art thing, but at least this one can handle 1080p videos, whereas my last one would skip and stutter and not be able to play them. Doesn't have a blu-ray drive, but I bought an external one so I could burn my videos to blu-rays for my also non 4k TV. Technology is wonderful, but it's a bitch, I spent so much time upgraded from non HD to HD, now I have to upgrade from HD to super HD haha...and before you know it that'll be ancient too...

Totally understandable. I also refrained from going 4K in my productions for a long time -allthough some of my cameras were capable of that for quite some time -, cause just like with upgrading you playback equipment, also editing gets much more ressource demanding in 4K. It's not done with buying a new camera and you're good to go. You also need the hardware capable of handling the massive amount of data that comes with 4K. I recently got me also a new powerful PC so that editing and rendering is possible in a reasonable time. But since I am a detail nerd - especially with hair, it was worth it. Somehow it its amamzing to be able to extract stills now from video, that are almost as crisp as the photography I take.
$K also gives you more leeway in editing. I can crop into the 4K footage and generate HD movies in almost the same quality and detail as 4K. So especially in this one you get a lot of detail also in th HD movie since it's not only scaled down, but also a bit cropped.
