There are no pictures or video of the slime or its aftermath, which is a bit strange because the journalist clearly had a photographer present with her and mentioned the sliming more than once in the article. Although judging by the rest of the movie it may end up giving you nightmares more than it turns you on.
Like most things in a post-digital world, Troma somehow seems tackier and less interesting nowadays, but then I haven't really watched a full Troma feature in probably a decade.
But Lloyd (and that classic cheapo Troma logo) were a HUGE part of my adolescence. TOXIC AVENGER is still one of the most disgustingly entertaining films i've ever seen.
and there was/is often an "I'll by that for a dollar!" type cheeze-o sleazy mess component to a lot of their films, but usually someone dripping with slime or ooze or filth that's meant to be sewage, etc. I forgot about the pieing in Nuke Em High one.
There will NEVER be another Troma/Lloyd Kaufman, though. Made me so happy when he popped up in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, good on James Gunn for not forgetting his roots (TROMEO & JULIET, another kind of "goopy" movie if memory served; a lot of the films used that clear KY slime-type stuff, they're just very "wet" movies, if you've seen, you know what I"m talking about).
I think he's been trying to kick start NUKE EM HIGH part 2/3 for a while, and i feel like PART 2 got made and 3 is still in the works.
I wish there were MORE pieings/mud or slime splashings in these movies, given the plethora of T&A in them, but what can you do.
Interesting note: in the original Nuke'em High that I saw (a video rental at a friends house) the twins were two blondes and they get caked (not pied) from above, in an equally quick scene (but a big cake and good coverage from what I could remember)...but I remember it clearly. Then later, someone here mentions the scene, only with different girls and a pieing...so, somewhere out there, there is a different version of this scene (the producers may have done a new 'cut' of the film and inserted a different wam scene (the two black twins) ...which easy enough to do as the scene is a quick cut away to a crowd closeup shot)...anyone else remember this scene differently?
