Time to break the current streak of beyond-disappointing WAM alerts! Short clip but nicely done.... and yes, Bojangles is a BIG thing in the South. Their chicken biscuits will take years off your life (but probably worth it).
This is really well done. I really like that she was putting on makeup, and then WAM! To go from primping to getting totally destroyed with mess so quickly... that's just awesome.

If I'd done this particular ad, I would've definitely left in more aftermath. Still, that gag was perfectly done. Let's just assume the director was "one of us."
(Side note: My one "local TV ad" dream is with this mother/daughter duo who do a ton of annoying ads for a car dealership. The daughter's college-age and quite cute. I think one ad where she finishes reading her annoying promo pitch... and just gets BLASTED with pies... would be a huge success. But I doubt they'd go for it....)

Especially since the mother and daughter are probably relatives of the dealership owner. One ad in my area had an almost-quite-pretty young woman singing an insipid jingle. I'm certain it's the owner's daughter/granddaughter.
Wow! I am stunned. A WAM Alert that actually lives up to (and dare I say exceed) the hype. A quality mainstream scene with good set-up and attire. As Rich pointed out, a little more aftermath would've been nice, but what we got was awesome.

Oh yeah, it's definitely the owner's wife and his daughter. So I don't see a great way to pitch it that doesn't end in disaster. Shame, as I know just from random people complaining about/making fun of the ads that this idea would be a BIG local success (and not in a WAM way).
Yeah, it's definitely colored foam and not the classic "cake batter" slime (notice how she wipes it off quick) but I still think the setup is great. And I can see them not wanting to spend half a day cleaning the interior of a car post-slime.
Jeepers - decently attractive female applying make-up (vanity), three, pressurized streams of colored thick/gooey gunge (foam or whatever) -- one directly in the face, complete head/hair and face coverage AND aftermath (wipe + humiliated look)...and STILL PEOPLE COMPLAIN!
This was probably the most 'wam' sight gag in a TV commercial since the guacamole/beer commercial from several years ago. it was excellent, imo. Only thing that could have made it better is a REALLY gorgeous model or beauty pageant queen.
