Vice finally put up its quicksand short!! . I really liked watching it and think they did a pretty good job of representing the fetish. What do you guys think ?
I love this stuff! Filmmaking is such a fascinating art! And I always love to be able to get to the bottom of these things (no pun intended) especially when it comes to media arts. How ever would have thought someone would take over 20 minutes to analyze how quicksand came from Hollywood drama and turned into our own little naughty fantasy!

I'm in it, and it was with some trepidation that I watched it.
I hadn't shot a thing since 2012, and I hadn't shot a shoot with somebody in charge who wasn't me since 2006.
I was pleased with how this came out. I find it to be humorous, accurate and non-judgmental about those of us who prefer our WAM substance to be over our heads.

I too am pleased with how it came out. Jedd was true to his word with both his approach and execution.
The downside is that this is probably the high water mark for how the quicksand fetish is portrayed in media. We'll have to scrutinize future access requests pretty well. But hey, right now, this is good stuff.
I was really happy to see this and both MPV and Studio 588 getting some really nice PR.
Also, happy to see that they brought in Nessie. She's an institution in that fetish and it was probably the most appropriate thing they did, bringing in a female perspective to the fetish.

I'm glad you got to see it. You have been around, if not as visible, for as long as I have, and we both know that the female perspective in Quicksandland isn't quite the same as the male!
Since I'm now 54, my "Era of Babe-A-Liciousness" is firmly over. But one other thing that's over is caring very much what people think about the fact that I did all the stuff I did.
Anyway, considering that they did a good job on this, I think that being on Vice is probably the grandest way possible to end my performing career.

I'm proud of all the work you've done to keep a different viewpoint on the fetish front and center. We'll have to see if I can keep that up. There's been times where I've wished I had stepped in front of the camera. I'm still young enough (early-mid 30s) but I have other things in my life that make me wary of it (just the IDEA of my currently young sons finding images of me in deep mud/quicksand makes me squeamish in a not-so-fun way).
