Hello everyone, I am going to be conducting my ultimate wam session in August. The biggest one I've ever done, and I wanted to get everyone's opinion on using frozen pie crusts for pieing. The apartment I'll be living in won't come with an oven, university style apartment, so that means if I use frozen pie shells, I won't be able to bake them. Has anyone ever pied someone using frozen pie shells, and if so how successful was the pie upon being used? Thanks everyone for your advice!

They won't be very hard or give the traditional pie shell look, but I prefer frozen crusts to baked ones. Instead of ending up with crumbling shards of hard crust in your mess you will end up with squishy pieces of dough. Overall I enjoy the feeling of o an unbaked pie crust more. The only down side would be any visual impression you get from using pies. They won't look the same. However, you can still slap them against someone and not have to worry about a sandpaper effect on sensitive areas later.
