Has anyone ever thought about using alginate in a messy scene before? I've always fantasized about being in a messy scene where I'm just covered in the stuff, head to toe just slathered in it and then left trapped in my rubbery cocoon to moan and squirm around. That would be so much fun it's got me fired up just thinking about it!
I would assume there is a lot you have to know before doing this ie safety protocol. Unless you know what you're doing, it maybe best to just pretend and use fluff or something.
Alginate isn't really very strong so won't hold you like you hope. There's a Cocoasoft video of a woman totally submerged with a breathing tube and that would encase you. Safety wise, when it sets that's it. If its up your nose it has to be physically removed. Ditto if you get it in your throat it will block your lungs. Otherwise its a fun feeling and a harmless substance. The modern silicone casting agents are more what you are looking for. They do set like rubber. Or you could just paint layers of latex on yourself like I do.
