That UHT cream is way too greasy for me, smells for days and coats your skin.
You can get some decent Graham Cracker crusts in Sainsbury I think (you certainly used to be able to); then I'd add a custard and shave foam mix for the best filling, but as for proper edible crafted pies that cover the face in thick sticky cream, we suck.

The lingering greasy stink is why I love it most. Such a gross punishment
Not sure if this will apply as I'm (across the pond...), but some of our large grocery stores here have a 'day-old' baked goods cart set-up, where you can get some really good pies/cakes at around half-price. They're all perfectly good, (they're still totally edible...), but folks here get a little bit 'mental', when the expiration date is still a few days away....
