Pardon me getting deep and sharing, but I was thinking today about my feelings about wam, and I realised that when I really dig down into it, what the best wam delivers for me is akin to a feeling of affection for the model - I'm a fan of the comedy style of wam, where the person getting pied is a 'victim' - and on a really fundamental level, I feel kind of sorry for them, and thus sympathetic - warm, positive feelings. Particularly if the model's reactions are the 'right' ones. (in my case, usually a stock comedy reaction - indignation, mock sorrow, pretend anger) The turn-on and the emotion are directly related. I'm not saying I have actual 'feelings' for the model I happen to be watching, just that the response provoked is (partly) emotional, on a pretty primal level AND is inseparable from the appeal of wam. Does anyone have a similar experience? Does seeing good wam produce an emotional response and if so how would you describe it?
