When I first got into WAM 10 years ago, there was a great Asian gameshow where the female participants had to get through a spider web-type obstacle course made from robes and bells and if they set the bells off, they got covered in milk/gunge.
I was wondering if anyone has these clips or knows where I can find them.
I don't have the time right now, but there's some Japanese shown which could be transcribed and translated to maybe get some hints as to what the show was.
I *think* this comes from Singapore. Usually things like this come from Taiwan, but the use of simplified Chinese characters indicates that it's not. The mainland would never allow something like this now and given the age of the show, it would have been beyond their TV capabilities at the time. It's definitely not from Japan because the first character at 00:24 means "red" but that's not the character Japanese uses for that. Also the hosts are speaking Mandarin (although all I can make out is the title of the show).
The Chinese lettering at 00:24 says "Red Terror Box" (Hongse Kongbu Xiang). I think? My Mandarin is not very good and that's about all I can piece together. I tried Googling the Chinese characters but didn't get very far. The problem is that "red terror" also refers to when Mao took over China, so most results are about that.
Also, if I'm wrong on the Singapore or anything else, feel free to subject me to the punishments the girls in the show got. Pie me bad for being stupid. :p

I think you're absolutely correct on this. I think the characters both in the front and back are the same and are apparently about as generic and useless a term as you can get for looking up a show...

Thank you for your help!!!! Any more hints to the gameshow name would be greatly appreciated.

The video is so fuzzy I had a really hard time making out the strokes past the first two but I'm pretty sure it's this (sorry for GTranslate, don't know how else to put in chinese characters since the site here won't take non-English text):
I had to rely on what the hosts said and I'm really sure the last thing they say is "xiang," which is the last character I wrote above.
But yeah, this isn't terribly helpful for finding the show.
Also I think I am wrong on the characters. I always thought that the first one, red, was simplified, but it's the same in traditional (which I barely know). So this could be from Taiwan.

That appears to come from a show called Daininki mise de dokkiri! Arienai shhin ureru!? Urenai!? Surprise at the popular store! Will the absurd product sell!? Will it not sell!?
The basic premise of which, from a combination of incredibly poor Japanese and Google Translate, is the guests on the show try to guess whether a weird product will sell or not. Whoever does the worst job at guessing gets gunged at the end of the show.
While I managed to find the Japanese Wikipedia article on it, I can't find any other good clips from it. The actual name in Japanese is at https://pastebin.com/YZFmdQ3c since if I post Japanese characters here it doesn't save properly

Darn it. I thought you would just take my word for it. I haven't found anything yet and didn't think you would ask for proof
