Trick or Treat! "Halloween schoolgirl fun with mud for 2015!"
We dressed Felicity the Serving Wench, and new model Rosemary, Lady Jasmine's new groom and horse trainer, in what can only be described as variations on Wednesday Addams's school uniform, lit the candles, gave the girls several large tubs of mud carefully shipped back to the dungeon from the Marsh House riverbanks, a Halloween orange bucket and a gardening trowel, and told them to make merry with each other--instructions they enthusiastically carried out!
Felicity wears a red tartan dress with white collar, knee-high white socks, and black plimsolls, while Rosemary wears a black and red tartan dress, knee-high white socks, and white Lacoste trainers. They start out playing scissors-paper-stone, except that what they actually say is "trick-or-treat", with the winner getting to dump a trowel-full of mud into the bucket. Except that whoever gets to four wins first will then get to dump the contents of the bucket on the other girl's nice clean dress!
Needless to say they don't stay clean for long! Mud is poured into laps, down fronts, spread over bottoms, dumped onto shoes, ground into those pristine white socks, and finally shampooed thoroughly into both Felicity's shining blonde locks and Rosemary's lovely red pigtails. By the end of the scene both girls are completely plastered in mud from head to toe. Oh yeah, and just to finish them off properly, they then got an extra coating of liquid mud, and a shower of glitter confetti each too.
Technical: The HD video for this scene is over 30 minutes long, during which the girls go from clean and pristine to completely coated in mud, and has full original sound throughout.
Well, I'd promised to try and get it the download store for Midwinter, we're 6 days adrift of that but we had an entire day's shooting with the lovely MyPieRogative on the 19th, which kind of knocked the timetable a bit. This was of course our Halloween release on the actual website, but several people said they'd like to see it in the download store without the usual six month wait (or a year's wait if we'd waited for the next Halloween), and given our mud releases tend to be a bit sporadic, and that we kind of established a tradition of a major mud scene in the download store last years with the runaway success of Veronica's scene in the dungaree shorts (shot on the hottest day of the previous May - it was well over thirty degrees and blazing sun that day), I can understand people not wanting to wait a year or drop $50 on a membership if they are only into mud.
Seems to be going down well by the sales so far! Really need to work to get the download store properly caught up this coming year, though we also really need to work out how to get our huge catalog of unreleased scenes out there for people to buy. Still not quite quite decided which route to take though, and currently the household is deep in the holidays. To the new year to come! (fx: drains wineglass)
