We got our 1st order from SplatterEmporium.com! This is the first USA based gunge supplier so the shipping charges were not huge (compared to ordering from the UK). It took about 3 days to arrive via USPS and came in a plain bubble pack envelope with no company name in the return address. There was a slight issue because I had placed my order before the site's official launch that the company owner was quick to contact me and clear up. We did a video showing the preparation, use, and clean up. We also compared it to PartyGoat.com slime, which is also available in the USA. As far as sploshing goes, the Splatter Emporium gunge was the hands down winner of that comparison. We got a 10L pink regular gunge, and a 10L thick purple gunge. The instructions and other users on here both warned that proper mixing was very important. In fact, one user here said that how good it comes out is really determined in the first 10 seconds. He uses an electric mixer and says the method he found works best is to pour the powder slowly but continuously at the point where the whisks are doing their thing in the water. The online instructions from Splatter Emporium also said to mix for 3 minutes whether you think it needs that long or not. We used a paint mixer attachment on a drill to mix ours. Both were great, but I honestly didn't see a huge difference between the regular and thick gunge. I guess a true test would be to order a regular and a thick version of the same color. Over all, this was a great product that worked as advertised; we would recommend it

Why does the think splatter emporium gunge look so runny and need an hour to set. Alana's promo clip set in just 10 minutes to set and that was a live and it looked way thicker and more colorful. Seems kinda inconsistent.

You would have to direct those questions to Splatter Emporium. We are not associated with the company, we just bought some gunge powder to try out and shared our experience. Like we said in the review, we did not notice a big difference in consistency between the regular and thick gunge. I did not see Alana's promo clip, we just mixed it according to the instructions on Splatter Emporium's website (along with a few tips from a friend on here): https://splatteremporium.com/pages/mixing-instructions
In those instructions it recommends waiting an hour:
After the 3-minute mixing process, set the bucket aside and let it sit for at least 10 minutes. This resting time allows the mixture to thicken and achieve the desired consistency.
For the best experience, it is recommended to let the bucket sit for an hour before using the Gunge. During this time, the Gunge will further solidify and become more suitable for use.

Hi! We wanted to come out let everyone know we are running tests to try and figure out why their batch came out the way it did. When we first tested our Gunge we used the same recipes and always mixed for 5 minutes before letting sit. We thought that was a little overkill so we did experiments to try and lower that number to see if 5 minute mix time was really necessary. After making more samples we thought 3 minutes was enough however we are starting to second guess that. With the industrial mixers or immersion blenders it seems that the short time works fine however in their case they used the paint mixer attachment and clearly the Gunge didn't turn out as we advertise.
As for now we are going to change our recommended mix time to 5 minutes until we can get a concrete result from our testing to ensure customers don't have this issue again in the future. Consistency is one of our biggest priorities and as more customers get the chance to try out the product we do hope this is a one time occurrence. We appreciate all of the feedback and comments as we won't know what we need to work on without you guys so we wanted to say thank you!
We also wanted to add a slight disclaimer that when Sexy Messy Babes did their livestream demonstrating the products in real time they had used 5 Liters of water with a Standard Size package that is intended to have 10 Liters of water. This resulted in an ultra-thick package and want to give people a heads up. You are more than welcome to add more or less water than our recommended quantities to cater the thickness to your liking. We are considering making a third thickness that would result in the same consistency that Sexy Messy Babes showcased on their Instagram Livestream. If enough people want an Ultra Thick Gunge we will be more than happy to provide it as a new product.
The consistencies we have posted in our videos here on UMD are what you can expect when ordering our products and using the recommended water amounts.
If anyone has any further questions we'd be more than happy to answer them!
