As an older wammer, I sometimes wonder how many young people are here compared to oldies such as myself?

I also find my wam tastes are somewhat different than when I first discovered wam.

So, question number one: Please see the survey and feel free to comment as well. I'm curious as to the ages of wammers.

Question number two: Has wam sort of lost some of its power for some of you? For example, when I first discovered wam, nearly any wam-related photo would be a turn-on for me - even if it depicted something I'm not really into. But now, I find I have to see specific things that I like, and even then there are many things involved that may or may not make the image or video 'work' for me. It seems that over time, my tastes have become increasingly specific.

Tying the two topics together, I don't know if age or length of time being a wammer might be a factor in becoming almost bored by most wam. At any rate, have some of you also found you need to fine-tune what you choose as wam material?

I understand tastes changing, or becoming more specific. I think it's a natural progression of accumulating experiences. When we are young EVERYTHING is new. Also, 20-30 years ago there was infinitely less content than there is now. And now that we have so much we've sort of grown spoiled and settled into more streamlined and specific tastes.

But personally, while I may like to "watch" a more specific type of content, I'm far less picky when it comes to active participation.

For instance I personally hate shaving foam, and vehemently denounce it as WAM (unless you mix it with other things). But if a shared mutual attraction wanted me to massage shaving foam all over her body, I'd stop mid sentence to do it.

This probably again goes back to the accumulative experience factor. I've watched a lot WAM, but I can count on one hand the number of times I've been personally involved. And for me participation > observation by a magnitude of like 100x.

On the flip side, ask Ariel, Lisa, or Jayce. For them it is (or has been in the past) a nearly daily activity, like bathing or brushing your teeth for a normie. So I would imagine it probably does a lot less for them than me at this point.

But then, there are a number of people here who have zero interest in getting messy themselves. So they may have a very different perspective on things.

I guess that because there's so much WAM content online, I'm more selective than I used to be. Kinda sad, in a way.

I got into and wanting to get messy when I was a kid through YCDTOT, WWYD? DD, and Fun House. I only realized it as WAM fetish in my 20s though through the internet and specifically Phoebe. Mind you, it was the early 00s and she was still active.

My taste in WAM mainly is slime and clay. I prefer total coverage, head to toe as produced by MPV, WAMBabes, Jayce, and most recently, Babaslimes. I'm not that into thin, translucent gunge or strictly pie hits. I don't know why it doesn't, but it has to thick and cover the person.

My interest has definitely changed over the years. I lost interest in getting messy myself by the time I was grown. For years WAM was a fantasy.

Proliferation of material made me more fussy but by far the biggest game changer was actually starting to WAM my partner for real and making videos and taking pictures of it. I'm really not that interested in anything but a very heavy, full coverage mess on a woman I find attractive. Ideally, a partner. There's nothing like that intimacy to make it all feel legitimate. But the whole thing has become a craft as far as I'm concerned.

Has my interest in wam changed since I first found myself interested in the topic? Of course it has. Then again, what hasn't changed since the Reagan Administration? Has it decreased, however? Not in the slightest.

What it has done, as it happens, is quite the opposite. Indeed, notwithstanding the two opportunities I had to indulge myself in the messing up of attractive girls in my youth -- opportunities that then-innocent me didn't properly take advantage of, as I didn't recognize that I was being flirted with -- I've finally been presented by life with the opportunity to indulge this. Frequently. Why? What changed? I did. I became willing to put forth my desires to those I found attractive and found that, most of the time, those I was attracted to had very little issue with the idea of indulging my interests.

Oh, just for the record, I'm one of those oddballs in this kink who adores making pretty women messy, but is fastidious and profoundly opposed to the idea of getting messy myself.

I have been in to wam mainly mud for years and I still have the attraction for it now but only certain videos really get me going. The spontaneous decision someone takes to get muddy like at a festival just about sends me through the roof lol.

Now I have my own place I have been experimenting with food items which feels great so now we are in the colder months in UK I'm gonna continue down the food and slime for a while.

Pies and mud for me, with other messy food too, but mainly pies. Slime and gunge don't really do it for me

Woah, I'm basically in the minority here. I'm in the 18 to 20 age bracket. The only other age group that is smaller is 21 to 24.

25-29 bracket here and been into wam for about 10 years (perhaps a little more).
When i first discovered it, i wasnt particularly picky but now i think i am, to an extent. My focus has moved more to the messy aspect with wetlook as a minor interest now. I also like to see the whole body getting messy and not just the face/head and shoulders.

I've also practically stopped self-wamming because the time and effort outweighed the pleasure gained. being currently single's probably contributed to it as well. If i had a girlfriend to wam with, my interest would probably return.

I do agree with potatoman-j on the shaving cream. I also personally refuse to see wet swimsuits as wetlook because they're generally made to get wet. Swimsuits and messy are fine though

So I'm "old." So, if I spray WD40 on my knees to help loosen them up........is that considered WAM?

I think I've always preferred slime and other liquids being dumped on a girl over pies. Probably because of the first WAM video I saw on YouTube when I was young.

been in to wetlook since my first feel for it , always then had a wetlook thing and still do in my 40,s suppose it get harder for food or other substance to be into, and setup of that but with wetlook I can do in bath shower , sea, river, pond , and rain , so its a easy to connect with, as apposed to buying lots of substances and cleaning up after, I do try oil which again easy to do, life takes toll on many aspects but never let go of your inner child to have fun

I have been into wam for more then 40 years. I am in the 59 to 59 age group. It started for me in high school with car washes to raise money. It continues to get messy and now I love it all. At first I thought I was weird but as time and content increased so did my desires to get better and messier and naughtier over the years. Myself now love the conversations of the wet and messy and take as many requests that I can see fit to try. My excitement level is just as high as it was when I first started if not higher.
