Some of the best was when you mad the mud pit at you house. There was enough of the deck raised. So when the went in face first you known it was well covered in mud.

Was it obscured for guests or did you keep it out in the open?

I had decking that could be placed over the top to hide it, but most of my guests knew about my love of Mud so no biggie. I think the only time I hid it was when my Mom and Sister came for a visit.
