Alpha/Solway or North produces a very comfortable PVC boilersuit that would be perfect for filling it with custard or gunge.

I've had a look at their site, some nice outfits, especially the "softer, more tactile" PVC boilersuits, though they aren't cheap and so far I've not found a reseller who carries their whole range, or the smaller sizes needed for female models, but will bear them in mind, thanks for the tip!

I can vouch for either in terms of looks and comfort of wear. Have you checked ebay.uk for clothing like this? I usually find them for 20 to 40 GBP. As for smaller sizes, just enter "Small PVC Boilersuit" in the search block. As quite a few of our people enjoy getting gunged in boilersuits, we do keep an eye on what's out there, but the problem with "small" is it's usually men's small, which is still basically a tent on the average UK size 10-12 (US 6-8) gunge girl. A safety supplier in Sheffield was selling off Flexothane waterproof boilersuits really cheap late last year, we managed to pick a couple up for just a tenner each, but the smallest one is still quite large even on Evelyne the cook, who's the same age as me and a bit bigger than the younger girls.

What seems to be happening is the manufacturers, not waing to be seen to be discrimatory, are now making suits in female sizes, but many of the resellers are only interested in stock they can shift lots of, so as the oil and chemical industries are still very heavily male dominated at the grades where people need to wear plastic suits (women tend to come in more at the qualified engineering levels, so while they wear boilersuits, they are fabric rather tnan PVC), the resellers largely only cater to size 36" (regular man) and up. But will keep an eye on things, there are a couple of potential sources for waterproof gear in womens sizes we're looking at, and I do like the Alphasolway gear, there's even a nice shot of a woman in green chemical dungarees on their site.

We've actually just gone through a purchasing phase while productions were shut down for the winter, and do have some interesting new outfits in both the industrial and eveningwear lines, we don't like announcing details of things until we've actually shot them but we do have some surprises planned.
