I'm in the process of making a new slime sorta like a offspring of MPVBleck. I am not making any videos or recipes for it since that will be going against the fantastic people of MPV.
My issues is that I will set up the room make my solution with pretty warm water and other warm ingredients but by the time I'm done mixing it all, double checking my setup is good, and finally getting nude to get in, its gone cold enough that it's not comfortable/fun to play in.
Is there any way that I could keep it warm without damaging the solution. I read online and on here that I can fill the tub with really hot water and put my solutions in buckets then into the tub. However I was hoping for some other options since I want to use the tub for my wam spot.
The solution has cornstarch, water, and methylcellulose. All other ingredients don't get affected by heat/cold.
A portable sous vide machine. Essentially it's a low temperature immersion heater used for a french slow cooking method. I discovered these through film developing whereby a water bath can be maintained for many hours at an optimum temperature for the chemical containers. The good ones ($200 +) have a range of 5-90c/41-194F in up to 30 litres/8 US gallons. Alternatively aquarium heaters will work to maintain large volumes of liquid at a 'pleasant' just above body temperature level.
So with idea of a immersion heater I thought about it and found this. It's a essentially a blanket that goes on the outside of the bucket and warms up with a thermostat. This actually looks like it will work really well. posting the link in case anybody wants to try it before I get a chance and lmk if it works well.
