Kind of. Last year at the Edinburgh Fringe, I took part in a comedy quiz where the loser got pied in the face. I was on the losing team twice (though it secretly felt like winning)

I know a guy who worked on the set of a gungey TV show.

He once got to go into the gunge for a run-through, but it was apparently horrible in every conceivable way: Kept cold, to prevent the studio lights curdling it, smelled gross, made of a slick substance that took literal hours to wash off, and those who went in it had to be rolled away in a wheelie bin.

Are you talking about messy gameshows on TV or internet ones?

I was once on an internet game show called " Splatter Island." If I got the answers wrong I was pied in the face. I was also slimed on this show. It was a great deal of fun.

In 2015 I was gunged on stage by Dave Benson Phillips at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. I was a contestant on his live stage show- lots of messy fun!
