I decided to ring in the New Year with a literal shock to the system. While staying at an Airbnb in the cold January California desert, I snuck out at sunrise for my first-ever cold plunge. The morning air was a crisp 40 degrees, and the pool water was even colder.
The video features a total skinny dip as I strip down in the pool house and enter the frigid basin completely naked. You'll see the immediate, overwhelming reaction as the water hits me and I dare to dunk my head beneath the surface. I definitely made some noise as the cold took over my body, creating an incredible high-contrast wetlook scene.
