Hey everyone -- quick update now that Tape 001 has been out for a few days. A bunch of you already grabbed it through the newsletter/IG drop, and seriously, thank you. The response has been way more encouraging than I expected for something this small-scale. I'm sending a full screenshot set so you can get a proper look at the vibe. This one leans into a slightly different aesthetic than my older shoots -- 4:3 framing, a touch of VHS texture, a bit of that "lost tape pulled out of a basement box" feeling. Nothing heavy-handed, just a style shift I've been excited about and wanted to play with. The shoot itself started as a simple "pizza break" setup with Lexxi and somehow evolved into cheese, sauce, ranch, dough, slime -- the whole chain reaction. Editing it reminded me how fun these small, weird, messy setups can be when I'm not trying to run a giant production. If you haven't checked it out yet, you can see the full release here: https://pie-zone.com/products/basement-tapes-001-pizzakini I'll keep sharing more behind-the-scenes bits as I go. Appreciate everyone who's stuck around -- doing this in a more stripped-down, VHS-tinged way has been a refreshing reset, and I'm genuinely excited to keep building this out.
Appreciate all the reactions over the last couple days -- really cool seeing people connect with this one. And shoutout to Messesoftheafternoon for posting those bonus moments I hadn't screenshot yet. Fun seeing those pop up in the thread. Lexxi was great to work with. We actually ended up shooting a little more after this scene, so she's definitely on board for getting messy again. I'll share more once that material is shaped up a bit. Also genuinely curious where people land on this Basement Tapes direction -- smaller setups, 4:3 framing, the slight VHS texture, the different mixes, all of it. Does it feel like a good evolution from the older PZ style, or too much of a shift? Always interested in hearing how it plays on your end.

How often are you going to release new scenes? I can't get enough of your work and can't wait to see more with those preview pics you posted earlier!
But yes, I'm totally cool with the smaller scale productions.
