I love this gif. I love the UMD. But damn, is the server on a dsl line or something? Just logging in takes forever. Then the pictures arent zoom-able (on an android phone anyway), going to a gallery from a pic on the homepage acts weird, with closing a picture closing the whole gallery. And it didn't used to be this way. I'm sure there are behind the scenes programming things I'm unaware of, and I know we should all be grateful this site exists at all. Before everybody jumps all over me for complaining about a free website, I've been buying something like a video per month for the last 25 years. I patronize the advertisers, I'm not a creep when an actual woman is brave enough to post, and I don't get on the forums requesting every video include a woman wearing white pants.

I could be wrong, but my guess would be it's on scalable infrastructure and it's expensive to run, with traffic volume its squeezed down to make it as cost effective as possible?
Messmaster might chime in, i might be wrong, but its how I would do it to keep cost down.
I mean, if I had to pick a non-technical reason, there are currently millions of college students moving back to dorms from their parent's place, but classes don't start for another few days, and nobody's quite at the point where they've reconnected with the FWBs yet.
