I haven't been on this site for some time in an effort to quit porn. I did notice something and thought it would be helpful to create a throwaway account and share a concern that's crossed my mind.
I've been seeing videos on my freshly made TikTok account of a WAM enjoyer posting his bogging dives. He only has a few videos, but they've gone viral and have gained some traction. It has also raised discussions and reactions from people online, creating a compromising interest in WAM for being "different".
I wonder if this attention on WAM will attract people to this site with ill intentions of sharing content posted in confidence on this website as shock value on more mainstream platforms like TikTok or X (formerly Twitter). I would imagine that an investigative/journalist YouTuber would also pursue the WAM interest and post a video analysis on the community and possibly individuals of interest.
Why am I bringing this up and making a post about it? I have this feeling that the WAM community might treated as the next "shock value" meme/topic, and could ruin the privacy of some WAM content creators. This has happened with pornographic content creators such as DreamyBull and LoveAndLightTV. I am making a prediction that this site might have visitors that are looking to share content on this site for the sake of humor, shock value, or shaming. I would hate to see anyone online humiliated for having an interest that is not commonly shared. If WAM as a topic continues to grow online, users might want to go under the radar for the sake of protecting their privacy.
This is all just my own speculation, but it is factual that there is attention being drawn to the community at this time that is not in the best interest of users wanting to post with privacy. I want to give a warning just in case your privacy could be at risk if WAM continues to be a trending topic treated with no respect. Its just a thought of mine, and wanted to raise awareness.

Sploshing being noticed on TikTok / Instagram isn't new. Don't worry. When the nationally broadcast TV show "The Doctors" reached out to me for an interview as an "expert" on sploshing, it was because it was trending on TikTok. Public acknowledgement of this kink isn't a new thing. It comes and goes with time. Thanks to the modern internet, almost everything is monoculture and there really aren't all that many secret cool clubs to be part of anymore. I liked the backstreet boys when they were an underground garage band
This is nothing new. There have even been producers interviewed for articles that have been very favorable to the community. If it is on the internet it can be found. If anything were to draw attention to the community in a negative light, I figured it would have been the whole Leon thing. That made the papers.

This won't happen. I was on a show called "The great British sex survey" and a few months later a show called "World of weird" did a larger segment on sploshing. These were shown on terrestrial TV and nothing came of it. People watch, then forget and maybe a few folks realise they are no alone in their kink. Honestly, the more we normalise kinks, the better folks will be as they will be less embarrassed, or feel less shame about them.
I think the "ceiling" for WAM as a mainstream thing is "Odd-curiosity-that-people-will-giggle-about-for-five-minute-before-moving-on-to-the-next-thing." And that's true for most kinks that aren't super ubiquitous like feet or can't be monetized as a sexy taboo lifestyle like BDSM.
Fact is that, unless you have it, fetishes like WAM are weird at first glance and gross once you start thinking about the sexual side of it. It'll get a segment on a talk show every couple of years, but not the kind of thing the average person wants to linger on. The potential for meme'ing only goes as far as a regular social media scroller's capacity for watching middle-aged dudes wallow around in slop in the bathroom tub, i.e. not very far.
I know Olympic gold medalist Charlotte Worthington was pre warned by the BBC about this community and the social media aspect when she went on a certain show on Saturday morning where she was up for a gunge vote.
I know the BBC have pre warned other people but not always, there is a very famous gamer and tiktoker that went on the same show and got gunged... A few weeks later was on a twitch live stream and talked extensively for about 45 minutes about her social media experience regarding that gunging and the BBC's conduct of not pre warning her.

I imagine everybody is warned about certain things that can be fetishised: Bare feet, tattoos, non-shaved armpits...the list is pretty much endless. Being famous unfortunately opens you up unwanted attention and social media can make it targeted. This is not a WAM problem but a human problem; knowing you can potentially get a message to a celebrity is mixed with the anonymity of the web and raging hormones/low morals or IQ mean that some people go to far. And it happens so much that the authorities can't look for everyone so unless it's basically a death threat, harassment or some other illegal thing, they won't bother and the problem persists. It's why we have to self-police, call out folks, stop them ruining it for others.
I'm surprised the police didn't get involved with "Gunged in Jeans" guy that hounded Sian Welby for over decade.
She spoke on the BBC radio about it. But she said she got the last laugh! when she did get gunged on TV... she deliberately didn't wear jeans to piss him off

This is fucked up that the BBC did not warn people consistently. It is more fucked up that they have to warn people about a community. Why the fuck can't people just be respectful of others? Why do they have to stalk people and other bullshit? If you have a hard time separating the reality of a situation from your own fantasies and day dreams, please get the help you need. There is a healthy way to experience this fetish as many people here have shown for decades.
