Kept begging for more money and even said a sob story about needing it for her sick dad. They kept changing the terms of the meeting and asking for more money, claiming they had no income. Begging for me to pay half for their airline ticket. I will not be responsible for this person financially, noir should anyone be giving them money. I am out 50 but that's ok it was a risk I took.

The negotiations were poor; they did not want to address my concerns and gave 0 thought to their own safety, which is a HUGE red flag.

I always catch scammers out by asking for a photo of them holding a piece of paper with todays date handwritten on it. Far too many scammers out there so always be quite alert

Well credit to them for mitigating losses with only a small deposit and standing their ground. Good reminder to always handle your kink hobby like a businessperson. Scammers and amateurs will play on the average internet guy's thirst to interact with a real live woman and attach a vacuum hose to his pockets before leaving him high and dry. Keep your money with you and refuse to take any shit. The second someone tries to change terms, that's it. There's always another option.

And, not to be crass or anything, but the "sick relative" story is a common scamming technique. But ask yourself: would it really be fun to play with someone preoccupied by a sick loved one anyway? There's the out you're looking for.

I'm not sure why they'd put anything down. If it was gonna be a meetup at Fetcon, which isn't until August I'd have to assume she was going there anyway. If not, there's not a chance in hell I'd pay anyone, even a well known fetish model, to get to Fetcon only to meet up with me. They'd want all the expenses up front which is a big huge nope.

The way all paid meets up work is the girl shows up, then gets paid. If they wanted money down they'd have to be extremely well known in the industry. Even with that, they wouldn't get anything down until they arrived in St Pete.

I really like this idea. Set up a thread called scammers or something similar. Then the admins add the names after threads like these are created. I can see where something like that could be used by people who get mad as a revenge tactic. Should it include everyone that scammed people like Kelsey and Chantelle? They didn't scam people out of money, they scammed people on who was behind the fake name. Or should it just be people who financially scammed members like Kaydens and Ariel (Who still has a store here).

If there's one thing I learned from Twitter, I call those kinds of accounts 'firstnamebunchanumbers' and they're usually either a bot or just a burner account. Sorry you're out the $50

Actually, this. It's so ubiquitous. And the photos are always so obviously fake, often sexy enough to be thirst traps but not revealing enough to be banned on sight.

With a name with that many digits, you're either a scam, a Star Wars droid, or a prisoner in Les Miz.

The scammer is probably stereotyping their attempted victim as someone so desperate to do their favorite uncommon kink that they'll just go with it. Really sad they try to use a guilt trip about dying relatives because it just ends up making everyone cold once you've been tricked with a story like that.
A good tip for verifying people who are claiming they want to do a meet up is to ask for a picture of the supplies they got for the meet, preferable if it's in the location too, like a hotel room fridge full of whipped cream for instance. Or even an inflated pool in the room. Anything that proves they are really there and really prepared
