The clip was made for MTV-audience and was discussed/critisized for the topics drug-abuse, violence againt women and cannibalism. The on-topic content for here (when it turns to "Alice in Wetlookland") is from about 3:30 to 3:50 to find.
This video is/was definitely not everyones "cup of tea" ... but I hope you like whats in the cup
Things are getting pretty ridiculous these days. Today some people look for any nit picky excuse to get something banned. Hey ... they forgot to critizice the promotion of giant sugar cubes in this video -- I am sure the Diabetes Organizations have something to say about promoting sugar in a music video.
Some groups are even trying to get Walt Disney to ban Snow White now, claiming that she did not give her consent to be kissed when she was asleep, so they claim that the Prince kissing Snow White is sexual abuse and that scene should be banned.
You do not have to look very hard before you can find reasons to find cases of abuse, e.g. the two writers and creators of Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan were both well known to be notorious ______ (Google their history if you do not know their background).
Controversy is not hard to find, if people want to look for it ...

There may be a - perhaps for some people too simple - solution for this Snow-White-issue and other similar cases: When you don't like something - simply don't watch it!
Although, if they would stick to the original text there would be no kiss at all in this fairytale. Therefor in the final scene the evil queen is stuck into glowing iron shoes and has to dance in them until she breaks down dead. (The fairytales published by the Brothers Grimm have often a bit "Game-of-Thrones"-violence-level)
It's a really well-produced, driving rock track from a time when the music was much more important than the video. Great band, a great singer, and sadly missed. Peter
