GATA-BAR is open at a busy area in Tokyo only from the 22nd to the 31st of this July. It is organized by Saga Prefecture, which is about 1000 kilometers away from Tokyo, in order to attract tourists to Saga.
Saga is famous for the mudland (Higata or Gata in Japanese) of the Ariake Sea, where the Gatalympics is held annually, so they use the clay for their advertising. They carried 4 tons of clay from the Ariake Sea to Tokyo in twice (8 tons in total).
It seems that the expiration date of this clay is five or six days in hygienic reason. So they open the pool only for ten days but must carry the clay in twice.
Because of the above situation, the Gata pool is limited time only.
