Just imagine, those of us old enough to remember life before the internet, if someone had told you that you'd get a weekly dose of this!

Nah, they've been filming episodes weeks in advance. The "last episode of the year" that they filmed this week probably won't air until January.

Lately, I keep track based on the guys who get destroyed per week. Tonight is gonna be the twin's turn to take more pies than all the women combined... Dumber (white shirt) takes about 4 or so, and Dumbest (black shirt) takes 2 pies, AND a flouring, and then FOUR MORE PIES at once. (Didn't someone on the male WAM forum complain that this show didn't deliver for him? I can't imagine that argument now....)

And then a later episode will feature Token getting destroyed. His IG shows his entire head from the neck up covered in green pie, like someone dunked him in a vat of frosting for a while.

Not sure which guy will get destroyed on the "last episode filmed." Based on Barb's IG, probably Beardy Guy. He's due. (And for those who say, "Why can't it be a FEMALE to get destroyed with pies just once? Wouldn't that be reasonably fair?" I say..... )

I just SO BADLY want to behead Horsehead Guy "Godfather"-style.

Yeah... At first, it seemed like he would just randomly dispense extra pies with no regard for gender. But aside from one or two "double pieings" to women (and a sneak pie to Barb that made the preview but got CUT OUT OF THE DAMN SHOW).... He's pretty much focused all on the guys. Especially lately. And especially Dumb & Dumber.

Don't get me wrong... I understand how an annoying person would be attracted to other incredibly annoying people... But seeing as how the Idiot Twins were already well on the way to being the most pied men in history NOT named Soupy Sales, there was really no need for Bojack to further accelerate the process. And yet.......

As if South American gameshows weren't bizarre & confusing enough:

Of course, nobody can upset the world-title-holder to bizarre & confusing in the universe of gameshows & fetish porn: the Japanese.

For those who care, the show was not actually the trainwreck it appeared to be from previews, etc. And to be honest, I suspect a lot of fans of male WAM would even be disappointed... Dumb & Dumber are averaging about 3 pies apiece per week now, but between their slipping and falling and flinging the pie mess around, it's not like male fans are seeing any great aftermath. I guess that's their "schtick"... to be the falling-down, pie-covered buffoons. God help us all.

The Good: Cute brunette (Nadia?) got a GIANT pie before the actual game started... Great coverage like the old days, and she doesn't wipe either. Reminds me of Barbara! (Back when Barb would actually get pied.) Cute blonde (Paloma?) got pied twice very well, the second from the preview. (That new guy was clear MVP.) New blonde got nicely pied early on. Another new brunette got a solid yellow wraparound. Long-suffering Danielle got pied decently, if not spectacular, by Token. (I think there were 3 hits? All kinda weak tho.) A few other hits here and there, most half-assed. I'd still give this one a 6/10, maybe 7/10 thanks to that great Nadia hit early on.

The Bad: Barb, yet again, escapes unscathed. (Every time they pair her with Dumber it's basically the producers' way of ensuring she'll stay 100% clean.) Multiple other girls stayed totally clean. Several other got balloons, which are basically worthless. Julia got punished... with the ridiculous "hard hat pie," which only works if you dig hair WAM.

The Ugly: Basically ALL the punishments on the bottom of the plates went to guys. Both twins and maybe 2-3 other guys went 0-for-the-night. Dumber and Ridiculous Mustache (the same guy who pied HIMSELF a few weeks ago) got multiple-pied for no real reason. Dumbest somehow wound up taking FIVE different messes (3 pies and 2 balloons), and was actually throwing a temper tantrum by the last one... Perhaps the first time the "star" looked visibly annoyed to be on the butt end of EVERY joke, same as each week since they brought these guys in.
Odds that he will actually throw his weight around to ensure he stays cleaner (and Barb gets even a *little* messy) for next week? 500:1. If we're being generous.

Football has ruined me and finals have sapped my energy in every sense, gotta have hope for something cool on Sundays I guess. and to think i was strictly a gunge man before this show came on the air.

Rich I think it's pretty clear at this point that Dani > Barbara, in terms of "willingness to play the comedic villain-diva" and actually be comedic. and also pies. it has to be a 4:1 ratio between them at this point.

Oh I know... Barb is perfect for the role as "bitchy diva who eventually gets her comeuppance"... except she refuses to play along with the second half. Which makes me think she really IS a bitchy diva, as she pulls every trick in the book (behind the scenes and on the show) to stay as clean as possible. Forget Dani. I don't think you'd find another "regular" cast member, female or male (male! ) who's left 75% of the shows absolutely clean.

The problem with Dani is that she mostly got Dumber's shitty "rub-the-pie-around-your-hair-a-lot" attempts that really did nothing. Lately they're going the opposite way with very carefully applied face-only ones. She takes them fine but immediately wipes.

Barb, for all her flaws, takes a pie better than anyone else on this show. She sits there stewing, not wiping, licks her finger, and then usually stomps off, still pie-covered. And (until recently) she was getting pied quite well in the handful of times it happens. That's the ONLY reason I'm still a fan... Everything else about her annoys the tar out of me.

Nadia is the true successor in terms of taking a great pie, but guys seem unable to pie her entire face correctly. Bojack got it right this week though, so he's not 100% useless.

SStuff. I think we're essentially saying the same thing. They have at least one more episode plus the beach episode(s) in reserve. However, they are finished taping for 2015. At least according to Barbara's IG account.

Caution is the nature of the television business, I guess.

Based on my (limited) knowledge of Brazilian TV, it feels like ALL of these "live shows" tend to take a month break from Christmas til the end of January.

For the past few years, Domingo Legal has recorded some episodes of PoR that were NOT shown live, but "saved" to be used during this month break. If you check their FB page, you can see that this is the case again. There's pics of at least two shows shot back in the fall that will be airing in January.

My guess is that CM is doing the same thing, beyond the beach show. The IG pics aren't quite matching up to the Sunday shows, meaning some extra ones were recorded. This way the show can basically be "new" every week while the cast enjoy a month of vacation. I think the reason most cast members didn't mention CM "returning" in 2016 is because this is standard practice in Brazilian TV, so it's a given that nobody's shooting in late December/early January.

*** The episode is again blocked on YouTube by Sony Music Entertainment. They didn't have a music guest so it must be something else. One of the male models is a Justin Bieber lookalike. They constantly refer to him as "Bieber". I wonder if this is triggering the block? I don't think CM cares at all that people outside Brazil cannot view the episode on YouTube (absent VPN).

*** It appeared that they ran out of pies towards the end of the episode. Several of the pies thrown were white. Probably whipped cream. I think they had to act quickly and find something to put on a plate. This explains why they went to the balloon so often in the final 1/4 of the segment.

*** Many of the models look at the bottom of the pie plate as soon as they pick it up. They want to know if they'll be receiving a pie in return. This not only is a buzzkill but affects the pie-ing. When the model knows they'll receive a pie in return they pie the loser much more gently. Then the loser feels obligated to pie the winner more gently. If they hid the message (perhaps between two pie plates or underneath the pie) the pie-ings would be improved.

*** Amazingly it hasn't been mentioned here before but many of the women go bra-less. It's quite obvious, especially when they're wearing flimsy gunge-soaked and pie-stained blouses. I don't know if this is considered normal for Brazilian television. Perhaps the studio only provides blouses, not bras, and the women don't want to ruin their own clothing?

*** Chega Mais again posted a crappy rating of .8. This equates to about 150K to 175K viewers. The show must be bleeding money. Perhaps this explains why they ran out of pies near the end of the show. They can't afford them.

Just a random guess.... Possibly one of the dozens of songs they play during the show triggered the takedown???

If saying the words "Justin Bieber" caused a YT video to get pulled, millions of teenage girls would've lost their accounts 5 years ago....

Anyway, thanks for the heads up. I would've kept waiting for the new vid to show on the YT page like a dumbass, instead of just jumping on a Brazilian proxy to download.
