I'm more of a fully clothed water and mud wammer, but as winter approaches I want to do more sessions with pies and cakes. I purchased a few pies recently but they were too dry, even though they were fruit filled, even after adding cool whip and chocolate syrup. I wore jeans and regular shirt for my pictures but I was not happy with the results. I want the pie to be perfect before it meets its fate, I'm thinking about soaking the pies with cooking/safflower oil for a greater explosive mess, but does anyone have any tips to "wet" a pie or cake first for greater effect besides Cool Whip? The pics are from my session with Cool Whip, I want a bigger mess. Thanks
Fir one thing start with the crust and add cream from a cake into the crust than use extra whip cream to help todd84 is the best at pie delivery in human form. Another thing you can do besides extra creamy whip cream is using cake cream as a filler half way and add extra whip for the other half. That could help but I would reach out to todd84 who has mastered the art of the pie experience https://umd.net/todd84
Thanks Curiouspaints, I bought the pies at my local warehouse club already made, and they were big. Would I better off buying ready made crust separately then enhance with the fillings? I'm just trying to find the easiest way for ingredients that stick
You can make pies with pudding then top with cream. That makes for A great splat! There's also many different flavors/colors to choose from. And its cheap
I have a friend who mixes yogurt and sour cream together and puts that in a pie crust. Trust me when I say it gives a good splat as I have been hit by more than just a few of them
