Ok, a rare attempt to stimulate discussion.

I just finished watching an anti-smoking advertisement, featuring paparazzi type pics of various celebrities smoking cigarettes. The message of the ad was that these people are providing great advertising for the tobacco companies.

Now, I know many smokers and former smokers. I don't think a single one of them took up the habit because they saw their favorite pop star or actor smoking in People Magazine.But, a lot of them saw mom,dad and various siblings and friends doing it. Far bigger influence, one would think.
