Anyone that knew me on here before will remember my coffee table converted into a gunge tank. Well I got rid of that when I came off here last time. When I showed my mrs one of my old videos of me in that gunge tank and I told her I don't have it anymore she was gutted. So what better thing to do on a nice hot day is build a new one. A lot more space and height plus stronger. Just needs some Perspex on the sides to catch any splashes and a proper release mechanism. Also a lick of paint.

Use some varnish or several coats of waterproof paint otherwise the wood will warp from the moisture and you'll end up with a wonky tank.

That's the plan going to take a trip down to b&q during work this week to see what I can find. Can't wait to give it a full trial run. Already tested it can take the weight.

Thank you messymatt. Should be perfect once I get the finishing touches done. May even add a secondary tank yet on the back with a hose coming off of it for a more direct coverage.
